There are some days that change you forever.
For me, that day was Day 11 of our Everest Three Passes 18-Day Trek, when we hiked up and over Cho La Pass at a staggering 17,782 feet. I was sick. I was drained. And the only thing I could do—literally—was put one foot in front of the other and keep on truckin’.
I had no choice but to dig deeper than I ever had before.
And somehow, in the midst of feeling like a shell of a human, I was surrounded by 360-degree views of some of the most stunning mountains I’ve ever seen in my life. Even on my worst day, the Himalayas had a way of reminding me I was alive.
What Hiking at 17,782 Feet Taught Me
This was, hands down, the hardest day of my life—physically, mentally, and emotionally. But it was also one of the most beautiful.
In Part 3 of my Everest Three Passes vlog series, I’m taking you right into the heart of it all:
✨ What it really felt like to hike at nearly 18,000 feet while sick and running on empty
✨ The incredible way this group of women showed up for each other with strength, love, and fierce support
✨ How our guides and porters were nothing short of superheroes
✨ And why, even in my most exhausted state, I wouldn’t trade this day for anything

You’ll also meet Sassy the horse, join us for a surprise helicopter ride, and witness the unforgettable moment we made it back to Kathmandu—a little dustier, a little sunburnt, and forever changed.
This final stretch of our trek was packed with wild stories, big lessons, and deep gratitude for the community we built out there in the mountains.
If you’ve ever doubted your own strength—or wondered just how far you could really go—this one’s for you.
